Provably fair Mines verifier

Recompute any Mines round from the revealed server seed, your client seed and the nonce. House edge: ~1%.

A 5×5 board is shuffled with 24 floats (Fisher–Yates); the first N positions become mines. Every click you survived was a tile the shuffle had already marked safe before the round started.

Because the whole layout is fixed by the seeds, you can reveal the full board after losing — the casino cannot move a mine into your path mid-round.

Odds and payouts

Each safe pick multiplies your payout; the exact multiplier ladder depends on the mine count. Verifying shows all mine positions (0–24) at once.

How to verify a mines round yourself

  1. Rotate or end the seed pair in your account so the casino reveals the server seed it committed to. Until that happens the hash is a promise, not a proof.
  2. Copy the revealed server seed, your client seed and the nonce of the round you want to check — the nonce is the round counter, not a timestamp.
  3. Paste all three into the verifier above. It recomputes the HMAC chain and derives the mines outcome the same way the operator's server did.
  4. Compare the result with what your bet history shows. A mismatch on any single round is the only evidence of tampering that actually means something.
  5. Check the committed hash too: hash the revealed server seed and confirm it equals the hash the casino published before you played.

Verification proves the result was not changed after you bet. It does not make mines profitable — the ~1% house edge is applied openly, in the payout table, and it is unaffected by any of this.

Frequently asked

Can I verify a round I lost?

Yes — ask the casino for the unhashed server seed (they reveal it when you rotate seeds), then replay the round here. All 25 tiles will match what happened, including the mine you hit.
